Knots – A Poem by Nate Maye

Poetry Breakfast

Knots

I tied a knot
in Tuesday
to remind me
of its beauty

I tied a knot
in five years ago
to help me
remember
not to go back

I tied a knot
in our time
to capture
each moment
before it slipped

through the sieve.
