Clarity – A Poem by Tim Gordon

Poetry Breakfast

Over the haunches of ergs
The stars, jeweled with light,
Shine down on nothing, but sand—,
Cast no shadow

Unlike Isha, final call,
Heard even here
Over evening nothing, and knees—,
Owning the perfect idea of a thing.
