The Himalayas when viewed from the Leh Valley in Ladakh present a never ending Spectacle.
Am selecting a Himalayan Range which resembles a multi-layered Sponge Cake and holds a Hidden Gem within its folds.
The Sedimented Layers of the Himalalyas rise from the River Indus ( or Sindhu) Valley and touch the Clouds in the Sky.
Layered like a Marbled cake
Only the Stupas indicate we are approaching the Largest Monastery of the Region, The Hemis Monastery. Hidden with the folds of the Himalayas which have themseleves risen from the depths of the Ocean.
